Treatment for Teenagers
Early/Interceptive treatment
The best time for orthodontic treatment is usually during the teenage years, when the adult teeth have erupted and jaw growth is fastest. This allows the teeth and bite to be aligned efficiently, with most treatment taking between 12 and 24 months to complete.

At Annandale Village Orthodontics we offer a wide range of treatment options to allow you to make the best choice for your teen. While most of our teenage patients opt for traditional metal braces, Dr Helen Flint also offers clear ceramic braces, or clear aligners for a more aesthetic way to straighten your teeth.
